Penalara, Spain – The GERA unit of BomberosCM, together with SUMMA112, conducted two urgent mountain rescues in the area over the past hours.

Late last night, teams found and rescued two climbers who had become disoriented while navigating the mountain at night. Their safe return was secured despite the challenging conditions.

Earlier this afternoon, another mountaineer was rescued after suffering a fractured ankle. Emergency crews provided medical care on-site and carefully transported the injured climber to safety.

These operations highlight the dangers of mountain climbing in the region and the rapid response of local rescue services.
