Guadalajara, Spain – A spectacular Taurid fireball lit up the sky last night at 23:44:07 UTC (00:44 CET), producing an intense flash visible across much of the Iberian Peninsula.
The meteor’s enormous burst of light was recorded from Sant Mateu in Castellón, capturing the moment the fireball tore across the sky with exceptional brightness.
Another video recorded from Barx–La Drova in Valencia shows the same dazzling event, confirming the magnitude of the fulguration as it crossed a central path visible from wide regions of Spain.
Together, the recordings reveal the extraordinary brilliance and scale of the meteor, which illuminated the night and was widely seen across the peninsula.
