Granada, Spain – Guardia Civil officers faced fierce winter conditions on February 2, 2026, as they rescued motorists stranded on the A-395 highway leading to Sierra Nevada. Heavy snowfall, poor visibility, and icy roads made every intervention challenging.

Officers in bright reflective jackets pushed a commercial van stuck sideways, maneuvering it back onto the cleared lane while uphill slopes and snowbanks added to the danger.
