Gwinnett County, GA – On October 25, 2025, a high-speed motorcycle chase ended when rider Connor Usiskin collided with a vehicle, throwing him from his motorcycle.
The pursuit began when Officer Chewning attempted a traffic stop. Usiskin refused to stop, driving through crowds and on the wrong side of the road, putting oncoming traffic in serious danger. Concerned for public safety, Officer Chewning discontinued the immediate pursuit.
The Gwinnett County Police Aviation Unit was called in to track Usiskin from the air, directing ground units to his location. Usiskin ran a red light and continued recklessly into traffic before the crash brought the chase to an end.
Usiskin was cited for Fleeing and Eluding, Failure to Obey Stop Sign, Failure to Obey Traffic Control Devices, Improper Lane Usage, and Reckless Driving.
The aerial and ground coordination helped stop the chase without further harm to the public.
