Atlanta, Georgia – On January 30, 2026, at approximately 10:54 a.m., Atlanta Police Zone 4 officers responded to a kidnapping report at 311 Scott Street SW.

The victim told officers that her ex-boyfriend unlawfully entered her home through a kitchen window. As she fled to call 9-1-1, the suspect seized her one-year-old child and fled on foot.

Officers immediately canvassed the area, with multiple units joining the search. Shortly afterward, an officer located the child and safely returned the child to the mother.

Police established a perimeter, and the suspect, identified as Abe Harold (born September 1994), was apprehended without further incident.

Harold was charged with Kidnapping, Second-Degree Damage to Property, and Second-Degree Cruelty to Children, and was transported to Fulton County Jail.
