Chiang Mai, Thailand – Footage captured by X user SKIPPER | ₿+$MSTR=MAXI shows the Yi Peng Lantern Festival unleashing a sweeping display as thousands of sky lanterns lift into the night, forming a vast tapestry of light.

The celebration, part of the wider Loi Krathong tradition, takes place on November 5th or 6th, 2025. Participants send lanterns upward to signify releasing misfortune and wishing for prosperity.
