Airplane Drops Red Liquid Over Wildfire In California

Orange Cove, California – A dramatic scene unfolded today as a large airplane was seen dumping a red liquid over a raging wildland fire in Orange Cove. The fire, near Hills Valleys Road and Anchor Avenue, was first reported this afternoon.

According to CAL FIRE and Fresno County Fire, crews quickly responded to the blaze. Battalion Chief 66’s initial reports stated that the fire had spread across two acres at a moderate rate, climbing up the mountain.

Thankfully, firefighters made swift progress. The fire’s forward movement was halted, and by late afternoon, it had been contained to just 30 acres. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire, and crews will remain on-site for several more hours to ensure full containment.
