Bielsa and Parzán, Spain – A helicopter rescue operation was carried out in the Spanish Pyrenees near Bielsa and Parzán in Huesca province, capturing the evacuation of injured hikers from a mountain area.
The video, filmed by X user Guardia Civil, shows a green-and-white Guardia Civil helicopter hovering in the sky before descending into a grassy mountain meadow. Rescue personnel from the GREIM mountain rescue unit, wearing green uniforms, together with a rescuer in a neon yellow vest and green helmet, carried an injured hiker across the field.
The injured person had one leg visibly bandaged and splinted in pink and blue. The team placed the patient into the helicopter while the rotor blades continued spinning. Further footage shows the aircraft taking off again and flying low over steep, forested mountains and nearby village buildings.
The footage was shared with a caption reporting the rescue of two hikers aged 62 and 66, with one suffering an ankle fracture after a fall.
The evacuation took place in the Cinca Medio area on April 27, 2026. The operation involved the Guardia Civil mountain rescue unit, the air unit, and a 061 medical team working together to airlift the injured safely.
