Vandenberg Space Force Base, United States – SpaceX achieved a major milestone on April 19 after successfully completing its 600th rocket landing during a Starlink satellite launch from California.
The mission lifted off at 12:03 p.m. EDT from Space Launch Complex 4 East at Vandenberg Space Force Base. The Falcon 9 rocket carried 25 Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit, with deployment occurring just over an hour after launch.
Shortly after liftoff, the first-stage booster returned to Earth and landed on the droneship “Of Course I Still Love You” in the Pacific Ocean. This marked the 600th successful recovery of an orbital-class rocket by the company.
The booster used in the mission completed its eighth landing. The Starlink satellites added in this launch are part of a growing network that now exceeds 10,275 spacecraft in orbit.
SpaceX confirmed the milestone in a public message, noting the 600th landing achievement and the successful deployment of the latest batch of satellites.
The company previously reached 500 rocket landings in September 2025. This latest mission was its 47th Falcon 9 launch of the year and the 630th overall.
