Man Arrested In Madrid After Offering Minors 2,800 euros For Sexual Images And Videos

Madrid, Spain – Police have arrested a man accused of offering minors up to 2,800 euros in exchange for sexual photos and videos, and of sexually assaulting one of the victims after arranging a meeting.

Authorities say the suspect used social media to contact victims through fake job offers designed to lure them into sexual exploitation.

The investigation began in March after two minors living in a protection centre in Segovia, along with an 18-year-old woman, reported being contacted online by a person posing as a woman offering job opportunities.

The supposed employment involved paid video calls in which victims were instructed to appear naked for adult clients in exchange for money. Investigators say they were also asked to send sexual images and videos beforehand and take part in a sexual interview.

Police said the suspect later arranged in-person meetings where sexual activity was requested. While most refused, a 17-year-old girl agreed to meet him in Madrid.

According to her statement, she was collected near Cuatro Vientos metro station and taken by car to a shopping centre. She later reported that the assault took place during the meeting.

Authorities confirmed the suspect had previous convictions for child corruption and sexual abuse following a similar arrest in 2021.

He was located and arrested at the end of March, and a judge has ordered him into pre-trial detention.

Two mobile phones were seized during the arrest and are being analysed as part of the investigation.
