Milwaukee, United States – Heavy rain poured through leaks in the closed retractable roof at American Family Field during the Brewers vs. Blue Jays game, as a severe storm system battered the city.
The footage, recorded from the left-center field stands around 8:35 PM on April 15, 2026, shows water streaming from the ceiling and roof panels into seating and concourse areas. Under bright stadium lights, rain visibly fell from steel trusses and overhead fixtures, forming misty cascades over soaked wooden stairs, railings, netting, and seating sections.
Despite the conditions inside, the green outfield and a packed crowd remained visible in the background.
The incident unfolded during the third consecutive night of torrential rain in the Milwaukee area. The storm overwhelmed the retractable roof, which is typically designed to keep games playable, leading to significant leaks throughout the stadium.
Local reports described water spilling onto seats and even reaching the field. Outside the venue, flash flooding submerged Brewers Boulevard and the Stadium Interchange, leaving vehicles stranded and prompting emergency rescues.
Amid the chaos, the Brewers completed the game and secured a 2-1 victory.
