Truckee, United States – The California Highway Patrol in Truckee carried out a roadside recovery operation on a snow-covered mountain road near the area as heavy winter conditions continued.
A CHP Truckee SUV was seen actively pulling a dark-colored sedan out of deep snow using a yellow tow strap connected between the two vehicles.
The sedan had left the roadway and become stuck off the road next to a wooden fence and a utility pole.
As heavy snow continued to fall and blow across the scene, the CHP vehicle slowly pulled the stranded car back toward the road.
The recovery took place on a slick mountain roadway near Truckee, California, where conditions were made more difficult by ongoing snowfall and reduced traction.
Officials had already warned of hazardous driving conditions in the area as vehicles struggled with snow-covered roads and multiple recoveries were carried out.
