Prato, Italy – Firefighters carried out a rescue operation on the afternoon of April 12, 2026, for an injured hiker in a difficult-to-reach area.

The woman had suffered an injury to a lower limb in an inaccessible location.

A team reached her at the scene before she was recovered using the Drago helicopter from the Arezzo unit.

She was then handed over to medical personnel.
