Salcito, Italy – Since the morning of April 9, 2026, firefighters have been working in the municipality of Salcito following a landslide that affected several homes in the town center.

To ensure the safety of residents, a precautionary evacuation of 50 people was ordered.

Technical inspections are currently underway inside the affected buildings to assess structural damage and determine the stability of the constructions.

At the same time, the Drago helicopter is carrying out an aerial survey over the entire slope impacted by the landslide to monitor how the situation is developing.
