Campobasso, Italy – An aerial inspection was carried out today over the province of Campobasso, which was heavily affected by severe weather in recent days.

A firefighting helicopter took off from the Aviation Center in Ciampino, with the head of the Civil Protection Department, Fabio Ciciliano, on board.

The flight included a survey of the landslide in Petacciato and the collapsed bridge along the State Road 16 in Montenero di Bisaccia.
