Petacciato (CB), Italy – Monitoring continues over the area affected by a landslide in Petacciato, in the province of Campobasso, on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. The operations include the use of drones by the National Firefighters Corps.

As a precaution, traffic has been banned on the A14 motorway between the Vasto Sud and Termoli exits. The Adriatic railway section in the area has also been closed.

Aerial footage captured by helicopter and drones shows the extent of the ground collapse, with emergency teams closely surveying the site.
