Southern Lebanon – The IDF reports that a rapid-response operation led to the elimination of a terrorist cell that had just fired an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) at Israeli forces.

Yesterday, during a targeted ground mission by the 226th Brigade Combat Team, three soldiers were moderately injured after the UAV struck their position.

Within minutes, IDF units from the 146th Division, supported by the 213th Artillery Brigade, executed a swift counterattack that neutralized the terrorists responsible for launching the drone.

The injured soldiers were evacuated to receive medical care, and their families have been informed.

The IDF stated it will continue to act decisively against Hezbollah, which has joined the conflict under the backing of the Iranian regime, and emphasized that it will prevent harm to Israeli civilians.
