Everglades National Park, United States – On 20 March 2026 at 3:40 p.m., Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Air Rescue South responded to reports of a park visitor who became stranded off the trail.

During aerial reconnaissance, the crew located the lost hiker on the Coastal Prairie Trail.

The individual was uninjured and safely released to park rangers for assistance.
