Fajardo, Puerto Rico – On 21 March 2026, a Coast Guard MH-60T Jayhawk helicopter from Air Station Borinquen rescued a 19-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman stranded at the bottom of a shoreside cliff.

The woman had sustained a head injury, prompting the urgent rescue operation.

Both individuals were safely transported to Centro Medico Hospital in San Juan, where medical personnel were waiting to provide care.
