TSA Pre-Check Lines Stretch Over An Hour At LaGuardia Airport Amid Staffing Shortages

New York, United States – Video shows an extremely long and densely packed TSA Pre-Check security line at LaGuardia Airport.

Hundreds of travelers stand shoulder-to-shoulder in a slow-moving queue that stretches far back through the bright terminal. Passengers carry luggage, backpacks, and jackets while waiting under fluorescent lights and large windows. Some wait patiently, while others shift or check their phones in impatience.

The footage pans across the crowded scene, highlighting the remarkable length of the line. The person recording reported it took about 1 hour and 20 minutes to pass through the Pre-Check lane, while regular security lines stretched up to three to four hours due to severe staffing shortages.

The delays are caused by the ongoing partial government shutdown affecting the Department of Homeland Security.

The post describing the situation stated: “This is the TSA Pre-Check line, 3 hours long at LaGuardia.”
