Dunlap, California – A daring rescue unfolded today near Highway 180 in Dunlap when firefighters came to the aid of a glider pilot trapped 25 feet up in a tree.

Crews from Fresno County Fire arrived on scene to find the pilot entangled in their glider. Using ladders and careful coordination, firefighters freed the individual and lowered them safely to the ground.

Remarkably, the pilot climbed down the ladder unassisted and was unharmed. Authorities noted that the person remained in good spirits throughout the rescue.
