Iran Releases Footage Of 42nd Wave Of Ballistic Missile Strikes Against Israel And US Targets

Tehran, Iran – The Iranian military released video on March 12, 2026, showing the 42nd wave of ballistic missile launches as part of Operation True Promise 4. The footage captures missiles igniting with intense orange flames at their bases, ascending vertically or at slight angles while trailing thick white smoke.

The clips, filmed from ground-level perspectives under overcast and partly cloudy skies, were edited together without audio or on-screen text. They highlight repeated launches from rural or semi-urban sites, with no personnel, vehicles, or landmarks visible. Bright exhaust trails contrast sharply against the hazy blue-gray sky in several segments.

Iran stated the operation is a series of retaliatory strikes following US-Israeli attacks on Iranian territory in late February. Advanced ballistic missiles including Qadr, Emad, Kheibar-Shekan, and Fattah were reportedly launched at Israeli military facilities in Tel Aviv, Haifa, and Al-Quds, as well as US bases such as Al-Azraq in Jordan and Al-Kharj in Saudi Arabia.

The military poster described the footage, saying: “The 42nd wave of Operation True Promise 4 was carried out with the launch of more lethal ballistic missiles against the Axis of Satan. The 43rd wave is pending.”

Iran claims over 40 such waves have been launched by this date, with minimal reported intercepts. The footage emphasizes the missile strikes’ visual intensity and the continued escalation of the operation in coordination with regional allies.
