B-52H Stratofortress Bombers Taxi For Takeoff During Operation Epic Fury

U.S. Air Force B-52H Stratofortress bombers were filmed taxiing for takeoff on March 2, 2026, as they prepared to support Operation Epic Fury.

The footage shows the long-range strategic bombers moving along the runway before departure as part of the large U.S. military campaign targeting Iranian military capabilities.

Operation Epic Fury was launched by the United States together with Israel after tensions escalated over Iran’s nuclear program. The campaign targeted missile infrastructure, military sites, and other strategic facilities across Iran.

In the opening phase of the operation, strikes were carried out against air defense systems, missile storage locations, command centers, and drone facilities. More than 1,000 sites were targeted during the first wave of attacks.

The operation has involved a wide range of U.S. military assets, including long-range bombers such as the B-52, alongside other aircraft conducting strikes deep inside Iranian territory.

The B-52H Stratofortress, one of the United States’ most recognizable strategic bombers, continues to play a role in the ongoing campaign as the air war expands across the region.
