Deputies Halt Training To Rescue Lost Ducklings During Spray Drill

Lee County, United States – A routine training exercise at the LCSO academy took an unexpected turn when deputies stopped their activities to help a group of stranded ducklings.

During an O/C spray drill, cadets were in the middle of the exercise when several ducklings suddenly waddled through the training area.

Deputies and instructors immediately paused the drill and stepped in to assist the small birds, which were wandering without their mother nearby.

The group acted quickly to secure the ducklings and ensure their safety.

After the rescue, the ducklings were transported to CROW, where they will undergo rehabilitation.
