Henry the Turkey Holds Cobb County Police Hostage in Hilarious Standoff

Cobb County, Georgia – A wild confrontation unfolded Tuesday morning when Henry the turkey blocked traffic on Milford and Wagon Trail, prompting a response from Cobb County police officers.

An officer arriving at the scene was met with an uncooperative Henry, who refused to leave the roadway. Attempts to shoo him away quickly turned chaotic as the turkey chased the laughing officer off the street.

“I’m not trying to get pecked by no turkey!” the officer could be heard saying as Henry strutted around.

Another officer joined the scene, but multiple efforts—including blowing an air horn—failed to move the feisty bird.

“Dude, I don’t like birds at all. I don’t like turkeys,” one officer exclaimed. “It tried to attack me!”

For several minutes, Henry stalked the officers around their patrol cars, showing no intention of leaving.

Eventually, Henry departed on his own, leaving the roadway clear. There was no report of any citation for the persistent turkey.
