Israeli Airstrike Triggers Massive Explosions Near Bahman Hospital In Southern Beirut

Haret Hreik, Beirut, Lebanon – Video filmed by X user LebanonJets captured alarming real-time footage from Haret Hreik in southern Beirut on March 4, 2026, showing the immediate aftermath of an Israeli airstrike at 10:21 a.m. local time near Bahman Hospital.

The recording begins with an unsteady elevated view over tightly packed residential buildings and narrow streets in the Hezbollah stronghold neighborhood. A towering column of thick black smoke surges from the strike site, climbing rapidly into the sky and spreading across rooftops. Secondary explosions erupt, sending flashes of orange fire and debris upward.

The camera shifts left and right, revealing the scale of the destruction. Flames burn through a multi-story building. Vehicles and rubble cover the street below. Residents can be seen running for safety or recording from balconies.

As the video continues, dense smoke expands across the area, limiting visibility and casting a dark haze over the neighborhood. Sirens wail in the distance, and occasional muted blasts can be heard. The hospital complex remains visible nearby, heightening tension as the strike occurred just meters away.

The attack marked the second confirmed strike in Haret Hreik within minutes, following a 10:14 a.m. hit also filmed by the same account. The strikes were part of intensified Israeli operations in the southern suburbs of Beirut amid ongoing regional escalation.

The hit in Dahiyeh resulted in at least two deaths and multiple injuries, prompting evacuations and condemnation from Lebanese officials.
