Man Screams And Claims Cop Threw Him From Truck

Borger, Texas – Chaos erupted after the arrest of Doshon Johnson on February 25, 2026, as the suspect loudly claimed he had been thrown from his truck by police.

Following a traffic stop, Johnson’s family formally requested the body-worn camera footage. According to his law firm, the request was denied via letter on February 26.

On February 27 at 5:27 p.m., Borger PD released the footage as part of their “continued commitment to transparency and community trust.” The video includes a section in slow motion, though it shows Johnson calmly exiting the vehicle, contradicting his dramatic claims.

The law firm Stockard Johnston Brown Netardus & Doyle, P.C., publicly criticized the department on February 28. They shared the official letter sent to Johnson’s family, in which a Borger Police Department official stated: “The requested video relates to a pending criminal matter that is being referred to the Hutchinson County Attorney’s Office for review and possible prosecution. Releasing the video at this time would interfere with the detection, investigation, or prosecution of crime.”

The letter also referenced state laws regarding disclosure and dissemination of public information.

Borger Police Department has not publicly responded following the law firm’s statement, leaving the dispute unresolved.
