Dressed in a black tracksuit, gold chains, and his trademark sunglasses, he walked out as the stadium DJ played “Drop It Like It’s Hot”, “Gin and Juice”, and “The Next Episode”.

Thousands of fans waved white towels printed with “Make Some Noise”, creating a sea of movement in the stands. Snoop moved along the touchline and over the halfway line, raising both arms and smiling as Swansea players formed a guard of honour nearby.
