Port Everglades, Florida – A Coast Guard Cutter Seneca law enforcement crew interdicted a suspected drug smuggling vessel in the Eastern Pacific Ocean on January 31, 2026.
Following the patrol, the crew offloaded more than $133.5 million and 17,750 pounds of illicit narcotics at Port Everglades.
The operation highlights the scale of narcotics trafficking in the Eastern Pacific and the ongoing efforts of the Coast Guard to prevent drugs from reaching U.S. shores.
