Hengyang, China – A young boy playing at a local tourist site accidentally wedged himself into a stone pillar, leaving only the top of his head visible, causing panic and helplessness for his family.
The parents tried for some time to free their child but were unable to do so and had to call authorities for help.
Hunan Fire Department personnel arrived on the scene and, after careful work, successfully freed the boy. He was unharmed, though his brief predicament left him a little embarrassed.
The boy explained afterward, “I just wanted to go in and take a look; I didn’t plan to stay there.”
The incident, captured on video, highlights the unexpected dangers of curiosity during play at tourist sites.
