Two Trapped In Abandoned House While Search Continues For Woman In Turvilla River

Torre Alquime, Cádiz, Spain – Rescue teams faced extreme conditions as two people were trapped in an abandoned house during heavy storms. The GEAS and GREIM units reached them on foot after hours of effort, as the bad weather prevented helicopter access.

Meanwhile, in Sayalonga, Málaga, a woman who fell into the Turvilla River yesterday remains missing. Strong currents and high water levels are making search operations difficult. More than 30 personnel are involved, including helicopters, GEAS and GREIM teams, citizen security units, and drones.

Authorities continue working around the clock to ensure the safety of residents and locate the missing woman, highlighting the severe impact of persistent flooding in southern Spain.
