Madrid, Spain – Mountain specialists from the Guardia Civil completed a six-hour rescue operation to save an injured skier in the Siete Peaks area near Madrid.
The skier suffered a severe blow while descending off the track, leaving them immobilized and unable to move on their own.
Rescue teams worked alongside the Red Cross and staff from the Port of Navacerrada to safely evacuate the injured person.
After extensive efforts, the skier was secured and transported to safety, concluding the challenging operation.
