Storm Floods Moncofa As Firefighters Race To Drain Water

Moncofa, Spain – Firefighters have been working tirelessly to manage severe flooding in Moncofa following yesterday’s storm. Teams from the UML (Unidad de Maquinaria y Logística) of the Fire Consortium deployed high-capacity water removal equipment to clear streets and public areas.

Crews have been evacuating water at an estimated rate of 150,000 liters per hour, highlighting the intensity of the flooding and the urgency of the response.

In addition to the UML teams, a unit from Parque Plana Baixa has been assisting with electro-pumps to further accelerate the drainage process and protect the affected areas.

The combined efforts aim to reduce water levels quickly, prevent further damage, and restore normal conditions for residents and businesses impacted by the storm.
