Skopje, Macedonia – Chaos hit the streets of Skopje and across the country this morning as heavy snow created hazardous conditions for drivers and pedestrians alike.

Many people appeared unprepared for the sudden winter weather, lacking proper “winter equipment.” One resident of Skopje took the situation to an extreme, seen crawling across a crosswalk while wearing summer shoes.

The unusual scene was captured on video by Dean Lazareski, who captioned the post on Facebook: “Breakfast + rakija + summer shoes.” Comments under the video were filled with laughter as viewers reacted to the man’s unconventional attempt to navigate the snow-covered streets.
