Mapleton, North Dakota – The North Dakota Highway Patrol has warned drivers that Interstate 94 is experiencing intermittent zero visibility as of 3:30 p.m. on January 18, 2026.

Officials advise against all travel in the area due to hazardous conditions. Troopers reminded the public that highway cameras can make conditions appear clearer than they actually are.
