CENTCOM Region – On December 18, 2025, a KC-135 Stratotanker from the 74th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron conducted an air refueling operation for a U.S. Navy P-8A Poseidon aircraft within the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility.

The mission allowed the P-8A to extend its maritime patrol and reconnaissance operations, contributing to regional stability and security. The KC-135’s long-range capabilities and aircrew’s night vision systems enable refueling at any time of day or night, enhancing operational readiness across the region.

Such joint operations underscore the U.S. military’s focus on maintaining persistent surveillance and support for allied forces throughout the CENTCOM area.
