Fake Cop Crashes Motorcycle Into Real Cops’ Vehicle

Gwinnett County, Georgia, USA – Body camera footage reveals a dramatic September 18, 2025, traffic stop that ended with a motorcycle crash and a host of felony and misdemeanor charges.

Gwinnett County officers C. Chewning and Corporal B. Bartkowiak tried to stop a motorcycle after discovering the tag was listed as stolen. Authorities say the driver, Brian Garrard, attempted to flee but crashed into the patrol car’s push bumper.

Garrard can be heard denying he tried to escape: “My tag is not stolen. I live in Alpharetta.”

Officers later found a firearm next to a badge identifying Garrard as a “Bail Enforcement Agent.” The motorcycle also had blue lights installed. He initially refused to give his full name and later provided a false identity at the jail.

Investigators confirmed Garrard is a convicted felon, legally prohibited from possessing a firearm.

He now faces multiple charges, including impersonating a public officer, willful obstruction of law enforcement, fleeing or attempting to elude police, use of a blue light in the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, giving a false name, and several traffic and licensing violations.
