3-Vehicle Hit-And-Run Leaves Man Dead on The Street

Studio City, United States – Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division are asking for public help in identifying three drivers involved in a fatal multi-vehicle hit-and-run.

The incident occurred on December 23, 2025, around 5:40 a.m. A white cargo van traveling eastbound on Ventura Boulevard struck the foot of a male pedestrian sitting on the roadway at Ventura Boulevard and Van Noord Avenue. The van did not stop and continued eastbound.

Moments later, the pedestrian lay down on the road and was struck by two additional vehicles, a white sedan and a white SUV, also traveling eastbound on Ventura Boulevard. None of the three drivers stopped, identified themselves, or rendered aid, as required by law.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics arrived and pronounced the male pedestrian, a man in his 60s, dead at the scene. His identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

Authorities reminded motorists that any collision requires stopping, notifying emergency services, and remaining at the scene. Pedestrians are also urged to exercise caution and avoid creating hazards on the roadway.

The Los Angeles City Council created a Hit-and-Run Reward Program Trust Fund in 2015, offering up to $25,000 for information leading to the identification, apprehension, and conviction of offenders, or resolution through civil compromise.
