Marion County, OR – A routine traffic stop on January 7, 2026, escalated into a high-speed motorcycle chase ending with drugs, a firearm, and a suspect in tears.

Traffic Unit Cpl. Turner tried to pull over a black motorcycle weaving through construction cones. The driver, Terry Fischer, sped off, ignoring repeated commands.

During the pursuit, Turner saw Fischer reach into his jacket, revealing what appeared to be a firearm. Fischer also threw drugs and a firearm from the bike. K-9 Cpl. DeMarco took over, and Fischer eventually pulled over, discarding more drugs along the way.

When officers cuffed Fischer, he began crying uncontrollably. Footage from body cameras captures the officer shouting, “STOP CRYING HOLY SHIT!”

Fischer was arrested and transported to Marion County Jail. Authorities recovered all discarded drugs and the firearm.
