Albacete, Spain – Authorities shut down a massive illegal party near the Cenajo Reservoir, a flood-prone area designated as a Special Protection Zone for Birds (ZEPA).

A total of 63 people were detained for crimes including organization, drug trafficking, and public disorder, with 20 arrested specifically for attacking law enforcement officers.

Police seized 16 heavy vehicles and issued 731 administrative penalties related to the unauthorized gathering.

A coordinated operation of 300 personnel from units including GRS, USECIC, the Traffic Group, and the Aerial Service established a security perimeter and dispersed the event.

Traffic authorities also intervened, preventing 287 drivers from continuing after they tested positive for alcohol or drugs.
