Lewiston, New York – Three police officers heroically rescued livestock from a barn fire on Saunders Settlement Road yesterday.

Lewiston Police Officers King and Richeal, joined by Officer Scheer from the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, arrived at the scene to find several cows trapped inside the burning structure.

Facing intense heat and smoke, the officers worked together to free the animals, guiding them safely out of the barn before the fire could spread further.
