Ramapo, New York, United States – Police in the Town of Ramapo came to the aid of an unusual “masked suspect” wandering through the area: a deer with its head stuck inside a bag.

The Town of Ramapo Police Department posted on social media that officers “responded to a report of a masked suspect roaming the area.” They later clarified, “The subject turned out to be a deer disguising itself as a bag.”

Officers “sprang into deer-tective mode” to carefully remove the bag from the animal’s head.

The deer did not appear to be injured and was safely released back into the wild.
