Mersin, Turkey – Authorities reported that an injured individual stranded in a mountainous area near Silifke was successfully evacuated by air on December 28, 2025.

The Turkish Air Force dispatched an AS-532 A/K helicopter from Adana/İncirlik to carry out the rescue operation.

The helicopter safely transported the injured person to Mersin City Hospital for medical treatment.
