Indo-Pacific Region – On December 4, 2025, U.S. Marines and Navy Sailors carried out flight operations aboard the forward-deployed amphibious assault carrier USS Tripoli (LHA 7), flagship of the Tripoli Expeditionary Strike Group.

Marines from Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265, working alongside Sailors, conducted the exercises as part of routine operations in the Indo-Pacific region.

The flight operations were designed to expand mission capabilities and strengthen operational readiness in support of the Marine Corps’ continuously forward-deployed force.

This unit provides a flexible and lethal capability, prepared to perform a wide range of military operations as the primary crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific.
