U.S. Central Command Area Of Responsibility – On Dec. 19, 2025, U.S. forces carried out a large-scale strike targeting ISIS infrastructure and weapons sites in Syria.

CENTCOM deployed fighter jets, attack helicopters, and other military assets to execute the operation.

In coordination with Jordanian forces, more than 70 ISIS targets were struck using over 100 precision munitions.

Officials described the mission as an effort to achieve “peace through strength.”
