East Rutherford, New Jersey – On December 7, 2025, three U.S. Navy F/A-18 Super Hornets from Strike Fighter Squadron 211, the “Fighting Checkmates,” and a P-8A Poseidon from Patrol and Reconnaissance Squadron 30, the “Pros Nest,” performed a Salute to Service flyover at MetLife Stadium.

The aerial tribute took place before the Miami Dolphins vs. New York Jets National Football League game, honoring U.S. military personnel as part of the NFL’s Salute to Service program.

The impressive flyover was visible across New Jersey and the New York City metropolitan area, showcasing the Navy aircraft in a dramatic display above the stadium.
