Vietnam – A video posted on X by user AJINOMOTO shows the inside of a VietJet Air aircraft cabin while the plane is still on the ground ahead of departure. The aisle is crowded with standing passengers, and several ground crew members wearing bright yellow high visibility vests are visible alongside airport police or security officers dressed in darker uniforms.
The footage centers on a male passenger wearing a cap as authorities confront him inside the cabin. He is restrained and then calmly escorted forward toward the aircraft’s front exit, where he is removed from the plane. Many passengers can be seen filming the scene with their phones, watching with curiosity or concern.
The cabin is brightly lit, with passengers seated and some using neck pillows. There are no indications of taxiing or takeoff, confirming the aircraft had not yet departed.
In the post’s caption, translated from Japanese, the user wrote: “Sexual harassment incident on a VietJet plane by a Korean man. Don’t cause trouble in other countries… Naturally taken away. Good that it was before takeoff. #LateNightFlight”
The incident reportedly involved the passenger allegedly groping someone, prompting Vietnamese authorities to remove him from the aircraft before the flight departed.
