Sultan, Washington – The spillway at Culmback Dam continues to release water and is operating as intended, Snohomish County PUD confirmed.

Officials emphasized that the dam remains safe and fully operational.

Water levels near the rivers in Sultan have dropped since last night, allowing roads to slowly reopen to residents.

Authorities continue to monitor conditions to ensure public safety as normal access is gradually restored.
