Dobbiaco, Italy – Dobbiaco, located in the Dolomites in the Pustertal valley, witnessed one of the largest gatherings of Krampus during the “Biggest devil show in South Tirol and party in Dobbiaco.”
The event, held around December 7th in 2025, featured hundreds of costumed Krampus figures participating in a massive parade, creating a dramatic and traditional spectacle that drew large crowds.
Krampus, a fearsome horned figure from Alpine folklore, is known for accompanying St. Nicholas and punishing misbehaving children and adults with whips and chains. The parade showcased groups of these demonic figures in one of South Tyrol’s most authentic devil shows.
Following the parade, festivities continued with a lively party, completing the intense cultural display of the region’s winter traditions.
