St. Johns County, Florida – On November 18, 2025, deputies from the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office rushed to the Southeast Library Branch after a man accidentally drove his vehicle into a retention pond.

The car was fully submerged when deputies arrived. They quickly broke a window and pulled the man to safety.

St. Johns County Fire Rescue treated him at the scene for minor cuts and bruises.
